Dollhouse Miniatures
In 2020 I became interested in dollhouses and began venturing into the world of miniatures. It has become one of my many passions. I particularly love designing and building historical furniture out of genuine hardwoods. Below are some of my favorite pieces I have created.
Turn of the Century Kitchen
This room box was one of my first large projects. This kitchen is 1:12 scale. I designed and built all wooden furniture. The china cabinet is made of basswood, the table is made of cherry wood, and the hoosier cabinet is made of walnut. All cupboards and drawers are functional. All woodwork and windows are also custom built. I made the glass features using genuine leaded metalwork with poured resin for the glass.

Sophie’s Hatshop
This is my largest project to date and is still a work in progress. This project is inspired by the movie and book “Howl’s Moving Castle”. I am building every room of Sophie’s Hatshop as modular rooms one at a time, and when I am finished they will be able to be assembled together into a full dollhouse. The finished dollhouse will be approximately 4’ x 2’ x 3’. It is 1:12 scale and I designed and built everything, including the small accessories.
